Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern (a) your use of the Parra Handyman Services LLC website (the “Site”) and (b) any residential repair or maintenance services we perform (the “Services”). By visiting the Site, requesting an estimate, scheduling an appointment, or paying an invoice, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site or book our Services.

1. Definitions

  • “Company,” “we,” “our,” “us” – Parra Handyman Services LLC, a Texas limited-liability company.

  • “Customer,” “you,” “your” – the homeowner or authorised representative requesting or paying for Services.

  • “Service Area” – Round Rock, Austin, and surrounding communities within a 30-mile radius of ZIP 78681, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Scope of Services

We provide labour for minor home repairs, installations, and maintenance (“handyman work”). Specific inclusions and exclusions are listed in the estimate or work order. We do not perform work requiring a licensed trade (e.g., major electrical rewires, HVAC installation) unless we inform you that a licensed subcontractor will handle that portion.

3. Estimates & Booking

  1. Free Estimates. Written estimates are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

  2. Scheduling. A proposed job date is tentative until you (i) accept the estimate in writing or through the online portal and (ii) pay any required deposit.

  3. Site Access. You must ensure clear, safe access to the work area on the scheduled date.

4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about the property and any known hazards.

  • Obtain any required homeowner-association or municipal approvals.

  • Keep pets and minors clear of the work area.

  • Verify that the completed work meets your expectations before the technician leaves, when practicable.

5. Pricing, Deposits & Payment

ItemPolicy

Hourly vs. Flat-RateEstimates may be time-and-materials or flat-rate; the pricing model is stated on each estimate.

MaterialsUnless otherwise noted, quoted prices include labour only. Materials are billed at cost + up to 20 % handling fee.

DepositJobs ≥ $500 require a 30 % deposit before scheduling.

Payment DueThe balance is due immediately upon completion of the Service, payable via card (Wix Payments), ACH, or cash.

Late FeesInvoices unpaid after 10 calendar days accrue 1.5 % interest per month (18 % APR) plus any collection costs.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Customer-initiated cancellations within 24 h of the appointment may incur a $50 trip fee.

  • Deposits are refundable if you cancel ≥ 48 h before the appointment.

  • For Service quality issues, see Section 7 (Warranty).

7. Warranty & Remedies

  • Labour Warranty. We warrant our workmanship for 90 days from the completion date.

  • Exclusions. Warranty does not cover (i) normal wear and tear; (ii) damage caused by misuse, accidents, or unauthorised alterations; (iii) pre-existing defects.

  • Sole Remedy. Our obligation is limited to re-performing the defective portion of the Service or refunding the price paid for that portion, at our option.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the Services or your use of the Site will not exceed the amount you actually paid us for the specific Service that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or property damage unrelated to the work performed.

9. Insurance

We carry general liability insurance with minimum limits of $1 million per occurrence. Certificate available upon request.

10. Intellectual Property (Website)

All content on the Site—text, logos, photos, and graphics—belongs to Parra Handyman Services LLC or its licensors. You may view, download, or print pages for personal, non-commercial use only; any other use requires prior written consent.

11. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

12. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information are described in our [Privacy Policy]. By using the Site or booking Services, you consent to those practices.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Parra Handyman Services LLC, its owners, and employees harmless from any claim, damage, or expense arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, or (b) your negligence or willful misconduct.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that the parties cannot resolve informally will be submitted to small-claims court or binding arbitration in Williamson County, Texas, unless another venue is required by law.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The “Last updated” date will change, and posting the revised Terms on the Site constitutes notice. Continued use of the Site or Services after changes means you accept the new Terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
