Refund & Cancellation Policy

Parra Handyman Services LLC (“Parra Handyman,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) wants you to feel confident when you schedule work with us. This policy explains when you may cancel a booking, how deposits are refunded, and what remedies are available if you are not satisfied with completed work.
1. Scope
This policy applies to all residential repair, installation, and maintenance Services booked directly with Parra Handyman Services LLC—whether through our website, by phone, or in person. It does not cover products or materials you purchase from third-party retailers.
2. Cancellation Before the Appointment

3. Rescheduling
You may request one free reschedule per job if you contact us at least 24 h in advance. Additional reschedules, or those requested inside 24 h, incur the $50 scheduling fee.
4. Refunds After Work Begins

We arrive but cannot start because the site is inaccessible, unsafe, or required materials/approvals are missingYou may (a) pay a $75 trip fee and reschedule, or (b) cancel and forfeit the deposit.
You stop the job mid-way for reasons unrelated to workmanshipPay for time and materials incurred to that point; any unused portion of the deposit is refunded.
Quality or workmanship issue within 90-day labour warrantyWe will return to re-perform the defective portion at no cost. If we cannot reasonably fix the issue, we’ll refund the amount you paid for that specific task.
5. Non-Refundable Items

Special-order materials once they have been purchased.

Permit fees or third-party inspection fees already incurred.

Work performed outside our 90-day labour-warranty window.
6. How Refunds Are Issued

Original payment method – card refunds are processed through Wix Payments/Stripe; expect the credit to appear in 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Cash deposits – refunded by company cheque within seven (7) business days.

Partial refunds – pro-rated based on completed versus cancelled scope.
We will e-mail a credit-memo receipt for your records as soon as the refund is initiated.
7. Chargebacks
Please give us a chance to resolve any issue before contacting your card issuer. Initiating an unwarranted chargeback may delay your refund and could result in additional administrative fees.
